Raymond M. Davis, 85, Center Junction, passed away at the Hallmark Nursing Home in Mt. Vernon on Saturday, January 24, 1976.

He was born April 9, 1890, in Madison Township, Jones county, the son of Margaret McDonald Davis. He attended the Madison village school, and married Edith Bajasch on June 25, 1907, at Anamosa. He lived his life on farms in Madison township.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Routh (Leona) Mallicoat, Mrs. George (Nelda) Von Spreecken, both of Wyoming, and Mrs. Owen (Lorna) McGuire, Center Junction, two sons, Ronald, Center Junction and Louis R., Clinton, 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren.

He was preceeded in death by his parents and one son.

Funeral services were held on Monday, January 26 at Hayden Funeral Home in Wyoming. Burial was in the North Madison Pioneer cemetery near Center Junction.
