Louise E. Lightfoot, 84, passed away on December 29, 1975, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.

She was born near Scotch Grove Iowa on January 27, 1891, daughter of John and Johanna Krause Lange.

She grew up in the Scotch Grove area.

She married Carroll Lightfoot in 1915. The couple operated a grocery store and the Post Office for many years.

Survivors include 1 daughter, Mrs. Albert (Irene) Boots, Wyoming, 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 1 brother, Fred Lange of Monticello.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 son, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 31 at 10:30 A.M. at Hayden's Funeral Home in Wyoming. Rev. Charles Johnson officiated.

Pallbearers were Herbert Westphal, Clyde Berry, Vincent Eilers, Lincoln Rickels, Dale Bickford, and Thomas Gutzeit.

Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery.
