Anamosa, Iowa, August 4--The funeral of John Mullen was held at St. Patrick's church Tuesday morning. Mr. Mullen formerly resided here, but removed to Dakota, where he was engaged in railroad business. He married Miss Julia Cash of this city. He came to Anamosa to consult Dr. Hejanian about an operation but nothing could be done to save his life and he died at the hospital here.
