Services were held on Wednesday, June 19, at 1:30 p.m. at the Hayden Funeral Home in Wyoming for Mr. Roy Charles Finkenbinder, 82, formally of Wyoming. Rev. E. Durkee officiated with interment at the Wyoming Cemetery. Pallbearers were Marvin Ricklefs, Randall Mohr, Dave Brinkman, Neil Hansel, Robert Cashner and Douglas Yarolim.

The son of Benjamin and Alice Bear Finkenbinder, he was born November 13, 1892 in Carlisle, Penn. On January 18, 1912, he married the former Fannie Boldosser in Carlisle, Penn. and moved to Iowa in 1926. Mr. Finkenbinder farmed near Wyoming until 1946 when he and his wife retired to town. Mr. Finkenbinder had lived the last two years in Maquoketa.

Mr. Finkenbinder was preceded in death by his wife, one grandson, one granddaughter, three brothers, and his parents.

Those surviving him are one son, William of Wyoming; two daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Mildred) Mohr of Monmouth and Mrs. Dale (Edna) Yarolim of Maquoketa; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
