On Wednesday, June 5th, funeral services were held at the Center Junction Presbyterian Church at 1:30 p.m. for Francis Edward McCullough, 68 of Wyoming. He was buried in the North Madison Cemetery. His sons were pallbearers.
The son of Francis and Mary Rogers McCullough, Francis McCullough was born July 31, 1905 near Reinbeck. He attended Grundy and Johnson county schools. On Dec. 23, 1929 he was married to Lorraine LaBarge. They farmed near Lisbon, Tipton, and Center Junction before they retired to Wyoming in 1973.
Mr. McCullough was a member of the Center Junction Presbyterian Church and served as Deacon, elder and clerk of session there.
He is survived by his wife; nine sons, James of Palos Verdes, Calif., Robert of Copley, Ohio, Ronald of Utica, Mich., Gary of Maple Grove, Minn., Max, David and Randall of Cedar Falls, Lynn of Cedar Rapids, and Roger of Newton; 16 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Olive Woods, Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Ruth James, Lisbon, and Miss Ethel McCullough of Evanston, Ill.; and two brothers, Bruce, of Lisbon and Robert of Mesa, Ariz.
Mr. McCullough was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
