Nathan Frost, 91, passed away Oct. 5 at Mountain View, Calif. He was born near LaMotte, Iowa, Nov. 2, 1881. His parents were Henry and Nancy Griswold Frost. He received his education in a little red schoolhouse near LaMotte. He was married June 26, 1906 to Ghita Preston near Center Jct. He farmed for 45 years in Jones county, moving to California in 1954. He was a member of the United Methodist church. He was preceded in death by twelve brothers and sisters and his wife.

He is survived by two daughter, Gladys Woodworth, Cedar Rapids, Hazel Frost of Mountain View, Calif., and one son, Lyle of Merced, Calif.

Services were Tuesday Oct. 9 at the Hayden Funeral Home, Wyoming. Burial was in North Madison Pioneer Cemetery at Center Jct. Rev. Evelyn Durkee officiated at the service.
