Anamosa, Ia. Feb. 23--The remains of Farrell O'Rourke were brought Wednesday to Anamosa from Duluth, Minnesota, for interment in Holy Cross cemetery by the side of his wife, who died about three years ago. Mr. O'Rourke was born in County Calvin, Ireland, and had lived to an extreme old age, being not far from 100. He lived in the vicinity of Anamosa for 55 years and was foreman of the state quarry for 30 years. No one who ever knew him can forget him and his quaint originality. After the death of his wife he lived with a daughter until her failing health compelled him to go to the home of another daughter, Mrs. Anna McDonnell, in Duluth. He never fully realized the change of residence and to the last thought he was still in his Anamosa home. He is survived by four daughters and one son.
