E. CHRISTIANSEN DIES JULY 14 AT MAQUOKETA
WYOMING -

Funeral services for Erwin M. Christiansen, were held Monday, July 17 at the Zion American Lutheran church, Wyoming. Burial in the Wyoming cemetery, where Military graveside services were held.

Erwin Christiansen was born at Anamosa, Oct. 6, 1930, son of Amandus and Louise Nissen Christiansen. His early childhood was spent in Olin and later in Wyoming. He worked in a factory in Cedar Rapids for four years before entering the United States Army in 1954. He was married to Lucille Husmann, March 5, 1950 at Wyoming. He was self employed most of his working life and had been disabled since 1968.
He passed away at the Jackson County Public hospital in Maquoketa on Friday, July 14,1972.
He is survived by his wife; four sons, Donald, Wyoming; Robert, Norton AFB, Calif., and Steven and Thomas at home; one daughter, Susan, Anamosa; one granddaughter; his mother, Mrs. Louise Christiansen; one brother, Norman, Wyoming; five sisters, Mrs. Cecil (Evelyn) Doudney, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Kenneth
(Lorrene) Brunscheen, Wyoming; Mrs. George (Vivian) Calloway, Anamosa; Mrs. LeRoy (Delores) Wood, Olin.
He was preceded in death by his father.
