Funeral services for Amandus Andrew Christiansen, 75, were held Monday afternoon, June 16, at Zion American Lutheran church. The Rev. Alfred Mardorf officiated. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery.

Mr. Christiansen died June 13 at his home in Wyoming. He was born Oct 31, 189 3in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. He came to the United States at the age of 18 and settled in the Oxford Jct. area.
He was married to Louise Nissen Jan 29, 1919 in Wyoming. They farmed in Jones County until moving to Wyoming in 1948.

He is survived by his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Evelyn) Doudney of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Kenneth (Lorrene) Brunscheen of Wyoming, Mrs. Robert (Ilene) Sterner of Lansing, Mrs. George (Vivian) Calloway of Anamosa, Mrs. Leroy (Dolores) Wood of Olin; two sons, Norman and Erwin of Wyoming; 25 grandchildren, and one brother, John of Waterloo.

Pallbearers were Mark Doudney, Gary Brunscheen, Alan Brunscheen, Donald Christiansen, Robert Christiansen and Danney Harms.
