LEONA BAHNSEN SERVICES HELD AT WYOMING AREA
WYOMING..* * * * * * Mrs. Leona Bahnsen, 66, Monmouth, died Sunday, May 22, at the Jackson County Public hospital, Maquoketa, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services, were held Tuesday, May 24 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hayden Funeral home, Wyoming. Rev. Stanley Chapin conducted the service. Interment was in the Wyoming cemetery.
Mrs. Lafayette Bahnsen was organist Mrs. John Henderson was soloist.

Pallbearers Named
Pallbearers included Ray Benning, Lafayette Bahnsen, Jay Bahnsen, John Bahnsen, Peter Bahnsen and Richard Bahnsen.

Life Outlined

Greta Leona Zufall Bahnsen was born at Blue Earth, Minn, on Aug 29, 1899. When she was 15 year old she made her home with the Peter Brashness living at Hayfield and Kasson, Minn.
She was married to Alfred Bahnsen on Feb. 6, 1935. Couple made their home on a farm near Monmouth until they moved to Monmouth where she lived until her death.

She was a member of the Monmouth Methodist church.

She was preceded in death by her husband in February 1964.
