Olin - Funeral services for Mrs. Oscar Kinler were held June 2 in St. Paul's church at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Lloyd Dutro and the Rev. L. G. Pimlott, cousin of Mr. Kinler, officiated. Mrs. Leroy Wendt, Mechanicsville, sang "The Way of the Cross Leads Home" and "The Lord's Prayer." Mrs. Ronald Rogers, Olin, was organist.

A family prayer service was held at the Hayden Funeral home at 10:45 a.m. Mrs. Kinler, 79, died at her home May 30 after an illness of several months.

Margaret Ida Inglis Kinler was born on a farm west of Hale on July 14, 1891. She was the youngest daughter of John and Ida Myers Inglis. She received her education in the community graduating from the Wyoming High school in 1911. She attended Coe college in Cedar Rapids after which she taught music.

She was married to W. Oscar Kinler, Beinfeit, Saskatchewan, Canada July 8, 1916. They made their home in Saskatchewan for 3 1/2 years and then moved to her father's farm in Hale township. They purchased a farm near Olin in 1936 and lived there until retiring in 1952 and moving to Olin.

Mrs. Kinler was a member of St. Paul's church, a member of the Ladies Aid of St. Paul's, a charter member of the Olin West Side club and of the Altruist club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a twin brother, Robert, and a sister, Jane M. Inglis, Wyoming.

She is survived by her husband; 2 daughters, Mrs. (Jacquelene) Floyd Siver, Mechanicsville, and Mrs. (Peggy) Bill Adams, Tipton; a son, Robert Julian Kinler, Salem and a sister, Mrs. Miriam Inglis Clark, Portland, Ore. Also 11 grandchildren and a great granddaughter.

Pallbearers were Gerald Chamberlin, Dale Groth, Kenneth Zimmerman, Ivan Duncan, Thomas Gill and W. F. Robertson. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery. The Hayden Funeral service was in charge.
