Olin - Esther Peck, 87, a resident of Meth-Wick Manor the last 5 years, and widow of William Peck, died June 16 after a long illness. Born near Olin Sept. 26, 1883, she was a member of the United Methodist church, Hiawatha chapter O.E.S., of which she was a past matron, and a charter member of the Twentieth Century club, all of Olin. Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. E. J. Stivers, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Roy A. Miller, Monticello; and Mrs. H. A. Wentzel, Newton; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Services were Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Olin United Methodist church by the Rev. L. Odegard. Burial was in Olin cemetery.

Relatives and friends attending the service from Stanwood were Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Armstrong, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Meyer, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Smith, Mrs. Edwin Crist and Mrs. R. M. Coppess.
