Services were held Friday, June 4, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran church, Anamosa, for Mrs. Minnie McGuire, who died Tuesday at Anamosa Community hospital. Mrs. McGuire, 93, was the widow of Tullis McGuire.

She was born in Whiteside county, Illinois, the daughter of John and Mary Johnson Jackson. She was married to Tullis McGuire and the couple farmed in Jones and Linn counties until his death. Since then she made her home with her son, Floyd, and her daughter, Mrs. Wilma Paulson, Olin.

She is survived by 6 children, Mrs. Wilma Paulson, Olin; Willis McGuire, Stanwood; Arthur and Louis, Olin; Milton and Clifford, Anamosa; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
