Stanwood - Funeral services were held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. for Mrs. Adam Flockhart, 94, in Anamosa, with Rev. Brown Garlock, minister of the United Methodist church, Anamosa, in charge.

Mrs. Flockhart was born Sept. 29, 1877 at Given. Sept. 8, 1897 she was married to Adam Flockhart in Oskaloosa. They were the parents of 2 daughters and 2 sons.

Mr. and Mrs. Flockhart lived in Stanwood for a year or so during Mr. Flockhart's illness. Following his death she returned to Anamosa to make her home. They were residents of Linn and Jones county for many years.

Active in community affairs she had been a member of the United Methodist church, WSCS, Independent Farmer's club and Senior Citizens club of Anamosa.

Preceded in death by her husband, parents, one son, Harry, Phoenix, Ariz., 2 brothers and 6 sisters.

She is survived by a son, Roy, Stanwood; 2 daughters, Mable (Mrs. William Tuetken) and Margaret (Mrs. William Ketelsen) Monticello; 10 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were 6 grandsons, Don, Robert and Keith Flockhart, Stanwood; William Ketelsen Jr. and Wallace Tuetken, Monticello, and Gene Falcon, Springville.

Relatives attending the services from this vicinity were Mr. and Mrs. Gary Goings, Bettendorf; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Driscoll, Mechanicsville; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bartunek, Gary and Bill, Cedar Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Coy Kelly and Debra, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Streigel, Mr. and Mrs. Don Flockhart, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Flockhart, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Flockhart, Jr., Mrs. Kenneth Proesch and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Flockhart, Michael, Shelly and Bruce, all of Stanwood.
