Funeral services for Ralph Milder, 54, Olin, were held in St. Mary's Catholic church, Mechanicsville April 21. Rev. P. J. Casey, assisted by the Rev. Thomas Mohr, Davenport, offered the mass and officiated at the services.

Patrick Mahoney, Garland Capron, Arthur McGuire, Richard Grafft, Hubert Shankland and Donald Rummells were pallbearers with burial in the Rose Hill cemetery.

Mr. Milder died in Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids April 18 after a short illness.

Ralph Francis Milder was born Aug. 24, 1917 at Mallard, the son of William John and Bertha (Rininsland) Milder. He was educated in the Muscatine county schools. He was married to Mary Bertha (Enderle) Milder Jan. 27, 1940. They farmed in the Muscatine, Tipton and Olin areas. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church.

Mr. Milder is survived by his wife; 5 daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Patricia) Behrends, Monticello; Mrs. Everett (Mary) Smith, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Gene (Maxine) Pollock, Iowa City; Mrs. Curt (Suzanne) Evans, Hanlontown and Mrs. Terry (Margaret) Richardson, Anamosa; 3 sons, William, Solon and James and Michael, both at home. Also a brother Elmer and a sister, Dorothy Milder, both of Muscatine, and 8 grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death.
