These old County histories are rare and usually "reference only" in libraries. Call the Iowa City Iowa Public Library in Iowa City or the Iowa State Historical Library in Des Moines IA and ask the reference librarian if they have a copy. If so inquire about where to write and how much the fee would be to have the title page and the biography photo copied and mailed to you.

Library budgets are tight, but usually for a small contribution and a self addressed envelope (SASE) they will be happy to help you.
