The 1860 census adds two King girls to this family-1870 shows 1 more.
These children apparently are kin to Edwards wife. (nee King)
I am researching the Thomas H. King family of Johnson Co. Iowa. Thomas died about Dec 9 1845 and his wife Louisiana Shepardson died about Jan 7, 1846-leaving two orphan sons, James Leonard 2 and George w 5.
In the probate records is one page listing a Edward Keeler as Administrator???
On another page is Oct 1847 James King des-coffin for wife $10 -childe $3. Could this family be the parents of the King girls taken in by Edward Keeler Jr? (and could James be the brother of our Thomas H. King)- Thanks Doris
