Hello-
I am searching for information on my 3rd great-grandfather, Christopher Eichhorn. He was born in Germany in June 1842. His first record I have found is civil war records from the early 1860's from Johnson County. He was married to Margaret Arnold in Nov 1869 in Johnson County. I was recently told that he was an orphan...and that he and his sister lived with an aunt in the Solon, IA area. Anyone have any idea who I can contact or where I can look to confirm this or how to find out who his parents were? Thanks in advance!
