Parents Drowning records

JAMES LEONARD KING, SEPT 24, GEORGE W KING, JULY 24, 1841, 1843

I believe there is a record (in old settler records) of four members of the King family drowning in accident but have not found the record.
James and George W. King were with a Moore family when 5-7.
They were with a Robert Bamford family when 12-14
Muscatine Iowa
War records give Iowa City as place of birth.
Appreciate any information on this family
