Death Record for William T. Swett

I need a death record or obituary for my g-grandfather, William T. Swett, who died on July 13, 1931 in Iowa City. To acquire a death record, do I make the request to the Johnson County Courthouse or to the Clerk of Court? Would the address be 417 S. Clinton St. or the Administration Building on Dubuque Street? How can I acquire an obituary? Thanks, Judy
