John Wrede, b. abt. 1844, died 1888

I am trying to locate the parents or siblings of my ancestor John Wrede, who was born in Prussia, Germany, about 1844. He married Adeline DEATON in St. Louis in 1875, and they had 8 children (Margaret Elizabeth, Isabel A., twins Anna & May, Sophia, William J., Louis F, and Amelia) before he died of heat exhaustion in St. Louis in August of 1888.

Adeline DEATON was born in Iowa, and her family lived in Johnson County, IA between 1852 and 1860, when they moved to St. Louis, MO. I have quite a bit of information on the DEATONs, but the WREDEs are a mystery.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who can shed some light on this branch of my family.
