I Am looking for someone to help me obtain information about mt father Samuel Mason who was a dining car porter(pullman porter)on the chicago,Rock Island&Pacific Railway when it was it by another Rock Island passenger train-he was killed instantly-the collison happened on October 12, 1934 near Downey, Iowa Since my fater lived in Chicago-his body was shipped there-but where in Chicago? My father and mother were not marrried at the time and I was only five living in Des Moines and my mother never told me about it only after years of searching did I find out about the accident-so I am trying to find someboby who can tell me who to ask where my father's body was sent if some can provide names,departments,addresses I will be most grateful indeed..thank you.
