KNOP - RUTZEN

Looking for info on the parents of my great-grandfather, John Henry Frank KNOP, b. Mar 1870 in Iowa City. His parents were Herman Friedrich Wilhelm KNOP, Sr. and Frederika D. RUTZEN who were married in Germany abt. 1848 and immigrated to the U.S. in 1867 or 1868.

The family moved to Atlantic, Cass County, Iowa, shortly after John Henry Frank was born.

Would truly like to learn who Herman Friedrich's parents were.
