I don't think that North Liberty had a newspaper at this time. All of the news from here was in the Iowa City papers or the Solon papers. These papers are on microfilm at the State Historical Library in Iowa City and the Iowa City papers can be accessed it you have a subscription to ancestry.com.

My great-grandmother was a Kessler and I have considerable info on the Kessler family and newspaper info for the Kasper family from the North Liberty area.
