I have some more inform. on the Rossler's from the History of Johnson County Vol.11. It is quite lengthy, but I can e-mail it if you are interested. It speaks of John Peter Von Stein married Mary Friedricke Rossler, daughter of John George Rossler. John George Rossler with his wife and 7 children came to America in 1830. Came to Iowa City 7-3-1840 to Sharon Twp.about 1842.In 1856 he sold his farm of 500 acres and located in the same township south of the farm which later became the homestead of his son Jacob. Then it gives the childrens birthdate and when they died and etc.
