Looking for Info On Great Uncle

SHEKWANA OR SHIKWANA

I am looking for information on a great-uncle of mine who came
to the United states in 1904. He was a doctor named Paul Shekwana (or
possibly spelled shikwana). He arrived at Ellis Island in 1904 but
sometime after that he moved to Iowa. We have found out that he worked at the University of Iowa in the Bacterialogical department, and that his death was mentioned in the August 1906 Iowa Medical Journal. While in Iowa he was rumored to
have been killed by a train accident that may have struck him while he
was waling along or near the tracks. We have also recently found out that since he had no family here in the United States, his personal belongings (estate) were left with a fellow doctor. We have spent so much time trying
to find any information on him or where he may be laid to rest... he was
the first person in our family who ever came to the US from Norther
Iraq, and we feel a great desire to pay our respects. If there is
information you can help provide it would be appreicated. We keep
getting scammed by these companies that claim on the web they will give
us info, but they charge us and just tell us things we already know.
Please help. Thank you .
