1850 Johnson Co, IA census lists:
Ann Studer 19 living with Hardeman Haberstraw family (birthplace Badow)
Eliwis Studer 9 living with Andrew Haberstraw family (total of 16 in household)
Elizabeth Studer 12 living with Peter Conley family, A RC priest b France is also living with this family. His name is ? Poey
Joseph Jacob Studer arrived from Switzerland in 1847 and went to the gold rush in 1848 with Phillip Clark. I would like to connect with anyone who may know the history of the Studer family in Johnson COunty, IA
