Funeral services for Alice Agnes Kabela, 92, Solon, were held July 19 at Broshs' Funeral Home in Solon, with burial in the Morse cemetery.

Mrs. Kabela died July 17 at the Solon Care Center following a lingering illness.

She was born Aug. 19, 1892 in Johnson county and married Albert Kabela Aug. 10, 1910 in Solon. They farmed near Morse for many years. Albert Kabela died in 1954.

Mrs. Kabela is survived by 2 daughters, Helen Tompkins, Iowa City and Ethel Rozinek, West Branch; 24 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mearl Kofron, in November 1984.
