Rosalia Bireline, 91

Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Church, with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Oxford. The Rev. Peter Cross will officiate.

Miss Bireline, 91, formerly of Iowa City, died Wednesday in Phoenix, Ariz.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Callahan Funeral HOme, where a rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. A general memorial fund has been established.

Miss Bireline was born Aug. 21, 1898, in Oxford, daughter of John and Philomena Frees Bireline. She was a graduate of Oxford High School and the University of Iowa, and she attended Chicago Fine Arts Institute. She taught art in Kankekee, Ill., and Minneapolis, retiring to California in 1963. She moved to Phoenix in 1979. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

She is survived by a niece whom she raised, Betty Bireline of Phoenix, AZ.; and two brothers, Bernard Bireline of Susquehanna, Pa., and Richard Bireline of Uniondale, Pa.

Four brothers and two sisters died earlier.
