Geraldine K. “Gerri” Anderlik, 64, of Iowa City died Sunday, August 14, 2005 at Mercy Hospital following a sudden illness.

Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 18, 2005 at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, 605 Kirkwood Ave. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Iowa City. Sister Agnes Giblin will officiate. Visitation hours from 5-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a general memorial fund has been established.

Gerri was born July 4, 1941 in Iowa City, IA to Cyril and Lorraine (Kaspar) Tauber. She married James Anderlik on November 4, 1985 in Las Vegas, NV. Gerri cherished her grandchildren with all her heart. She was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan and a member of the Classy Chassy Cruisers car club.

Gerri is survived by her husband Jim, two children; Michael Van Epps (Catarina) of Oak Park, IL, Amy Van Epps of Iowa City, two step-children; Angela Anderlik of Kenosha, WI, Michael Anderlik (Jo) of Skykesville, MD, seven grandchildren; Nathan Van Epps, Evan Van Epps, Francisco Van Epps, Conner Van Epps, Madeleine Anderlik, Justin Anderlik, Cory Anderlik.

Gerri was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Cyril Tauber Jr.
