David L. Driscol, 55, of Kalona, died Thursday, July 28, 2005, at his home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Iowa City with the Rev. Ken Kuntz officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Iowa City.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona and from noon until service time Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. There will be a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family will be present during these times.
Mr. Driscol was the son of Arnold and Darlene Driscol. He was an electrical engineer at the University of Iowa College of Engineering for 33 years. He was married to the former Margaret Wade.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret, of Kalona; four sons, Jeffery of Urbana, Shawn and his wife, Lacie, of Streamwood, Ill., Courtney of Iowa City and Christopher and friend Shannon Fisher of Kalona; two brothers, Daniel Driscol of Dysart and Robert Driscol of La Porte City; and three sisters, Luella Driscol of La Porte City, Shirley Jacoby of Evansdale and Pam Hilton of Red Wing, Minn.
His mother, Darlene Driscol, and a sister, Carol Jensen, died earlier.
