Marina was born July 11, 1917 in Marshall, Minnesota, the daughter of Phillippi and Mary Cosaert. She was married to Warren “Mac” McGuire. Mac died in 1993.

If there was a song “Let me live my life in Minnesota” she would have written it. Marina lived and loved life in the Minneapolis most of her adult life, where she was employed as an administrative secretary for many years. Mac and Marina’s memorable early retirement years were enjoyed at a lake home on Pequot Lake near Brainerd, MN later moving to New Brighton, MN. In 1998 she moved from her home in New Brighton to North Liberty, IA to be near her nephew John Cosaert and his family.

Marina was a “real lady” who treasured family and life long relationships. Her life was centered on Mac and the life they lived together. She was an avid reader, was known to spoil her pet poodles, she also loved traveling and good conversation.

Marina is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Cosaert of Corning, Iowa and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and two brothers John Cosaert of Corning, Iowa and Joseph Cosaert.
