Pickering Funeral Sunday

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Snider Chapel for Oliver Pickering, former West Liberty man who died at the hospital in Drumheller, Alberta, where he has been visiting his brother, Levi. The brother accompanied the body to West Liberty. Interment was mode at Oakridge cemetery. Mr. Pickering made his home here as a young man but had been absent for a number of years, though he frequently returned for visits.
The men of the Presbyterian church will hold a banquet Tuesday evening at the church dining room, to be followed by an address by Dr. J. B. Rendall, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of Muscatine. The supper will be served by the ladies of the church.

Mr. Oliver Pickering who died at Drumheller, Alberta, in a Canadian hospital, after being stricken, while at the home of his brother, Levi, visiting, formerly lived in West Liberty. Levi brought the body to Iowa, and the burial was made at West Liberty, Sunday.
