Linda L. Crawford, 62, 335 Hickory Street, died at her home Saturday, July 16, 2005 following a lengthy illness.

Graveside Service will be held Wednesday at 10AM at Ridgewood Cemetery, North Liberty. Friends may call from 4 to 8pm Tuesday at Lensing’s Oak Hill, Coralville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the University of Iowa Foundation for the Breast Cancer Clinic.

Linda was born March 23, 1943 in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, the daughter of Dale and Frances Hughes Lytle. On July 15, 1962 she married Duane Crawford in Charles City, Iowa, where she was raised.

She and her family had lived in rural Iowa City until 1973 when they moved to North Liberty.

Linda had been employed for thirty years with the UI Laundry Service, retiring in 2004. She was an avid reader and enjoyed craftwork.

Linda is survived by her husband, Duane; two sons, Larry (Brenda) Crawford of Iowa City and their children Stephanie and Tom; Mike (Lisa) Crawford of Granite Falls, Washington and their children Chris and Myles; two brothers, Robert (Coe) Lytle of Charles City and Wayne (Wanda) Lytle of Jasper, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
