Deborah Diane O’Connor, 44, of Coralville, passed away suddenly at her home. A Funeral Service will be held at on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 1 PM, at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City. Visitation will begin at 11 AM until the service time. Following the service burial will be at Ridgewood Cemetery, North Liberty, IA. If you have not been vaccinated the family requests that you wear a mask.

Deborah was born April 12, 1977, in Santa Anna, California to Gary and Patty (Hall) O’Connor. She graduated from The University of Iowa with a B.A in Psychology and Therapeutic Recreation. Deborah worked for Bright Horizons Day Care for the last 8 years. She volunteered at The Ronald McDonald House for several years during college. Deborah was a homebody and like to watch movies and enjoyed reading especially Stephen King.

Deborah is survived by her parents, Gary O’Connor of Iowa City, and Patty O’Connor of Cedar Rapids, IA; three siblings, Keah O’Connor of Coralville, Matthew O’Connor (Mariah Devore) of Iowa City, and Rebecca Orlikowski (Ross) of Cedar Rapids; two nieces and one nephew, Genevieve and Gwenavaire Orlikowski and Kyven O’Connor; and her dog, Mimi.

Deborah was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ruth and Harold Hall and Frederick and Betty O’Connor; and her uncle, Geof O’Connor.
