JOHN A. CAHILL DIED THIS FORENOON
John A. Cahill died this forenoon at 11 o’clock at the home of his parents, Mr. & Mrs. William Cahill, at 411 South Dubuque street. The cause of his death was pneumonia, super induced by influenza.

Mr. Cahill was born June 8, 1888, at Belle Plain, Iowa. He was educated at St. Ambrose College, Davenport, Iowa, and was a graduate of the state university pharmacy college, class of 1911. He was the senior partner of Cahill Brothers’ pharmacy on Market and Linn streets, since March 1912 and was manager and violinist of Cahill Brothers’ orchestra.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. & Mrs. William Cahill, and a brother, William L. Cahill, his partner in business.

Since residing in Iowa City, Mr. Cahill has made friends who today are grieved to hear of the death of this highly respected citizen. Funeral arrangements will be announced later today.
