MRS. JOSEPH BRYSCH DIED LAST NIGHT
Mrs. Joseph Brych, senior, a pioneer resident of Iowa City passed away last night at 9:45 o’clock at her home 504 south Lucas Street. Death came after a complicated illness of eight months. The good woman lived in Iowa City during the greater part of her life coming here in 1867 and remaining a resident her up until the time of her death. She leaves her husband and two sons, Joseph, Jr. of this city and John of Ames, Iowa, to mourn her great loss. The deceased was seventy-four years old. In the many years that she lived in this community, Mrs. Brych made a great number of warm friends who are grief stricken with her death. She was a good wife and mother and was ever kindly in her dealings with everyone. In life she was a devoted Catholic and a prominent member of St. Wenceslaus church.

Funeral services will be held at nine o’clock Monday morning at St. Wenceslaus church. Interment will be made in St. Joseph’s cemetery.
