MRS. WILLIAM WREDE DIED AT HILLS, IOWA
Mrs. William Wrede died yesterday afternoon, at half past twelve o’clock at her home in Hills, Iowa. She was seventy-two years old and died after being for some time an invalid, following an accident.She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, four daughters and three sons, Lizzie and Delia of the state of Washington, Alice and Ida of Hills, Iowa, John Wrede of Iowa City, and Charles and Albert of Hills, Iowa.
Mrs. Wrede was a patient sufferer, and was one of the honored pioneers of the vicinity of Hills, where she had lived for more than fifty-three years. She came from Germany when about eighteen years of age. Through her death, the family loses a devoted wife and mother and the community one of its most loved and worthy citizens.
The funeral will take place from the home at three O’clock, Saturday afternoon, the Reverend H. Bruschner, of the German Lutheran church, will conduct the services. Burial will be at the Mentzer cemetery. A large circle of friends tender their sympathy to the family in their grief.
