JAMES GRAHAM, WELL KNOWN PIONEER DIES
James K. Graham, a well-known pioneer of this city, passed away last night at a local hospital after a very brief illness. He was sixty-seven years of age and was born and reared in Johnson County. He is the son of the late Benjamin Graham of this city. The deceased is survived by five children, three girls and four boys. They are: Mrs. R. E. Young of Denver, Colo., Mrs. G. F. Herman of Hinkley, Minn., Mrs. F. W. Farnsworth of Sanborn, Iowa, Mr. B. W. Graham of Los Angeles and S. J. Graham of this city. Besides these the stricken man has two sisters residing in Iowa City, Mrs. J. F. Hill; Mrs. Louise Long. Mrs. Ed Long, another sister lives at Cedar Rapids. Mr. Graham made many staunch friends during his long residence here and these will join with his family in mourning his sudden death.The remains are at the Mortuary awaiting the arrival of relatives. No funeral arrangements have been made as yet but will be announced later when all of the members of the family are here.
