IN MEMORY OF HENRY ZAK
Henry Zak was born May 14, 1879 in Pasaka, Bohemia, and was only five months old when he came to America with his parents. At seven he was left an orphan and lived in Oxford Junction until 1912 when he moved to Marion. For about 15 years he had been an employee of the C.M. and St. P railway company. He was a member of the Masonic lodge, the Z.C.B.J. and the trainmen.Death came in an Iowa City hospital on November 27 and he leaves his wife and three daughters, aged 12, 8 and 2 years; four sisters and one brother, Mrs. Delbert Tabor of Marion, Mrs. Elmer Johnson of Wyoming, Iowa, Mrs. Fred Bohn, Davenport and Edward Zak, Oxford Junction. Funeral services were conducted at Oxford Junction by the Masons.
