Carolyn Jean Ashby, 79, died Monday, January 31, 2005 at Life Care Hospital in Edinburg, Texas.
Carolyn was born August 3, 1925 in Atlantic, Iowa. Carolyn moved to Iowa City in 1957 and she worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company for 37 years, and retired in 1981. She moved to Mission, Texas in 1995.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Mrs. Bill) White of Iowa City; her brother Ed (Marcia) Arthur of Lincoln, Nebraska; her sisters Marcia Wilson of San Diego, California and Beverly (Bart) Webb of Atlantic; and Sue (Ken) Berry of Sunset, Utah.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her sister, Doris White of Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 2000.
Cremation services are under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission, Texas.
