Solon - Joseph Stephens, an old settler living two miles north of Solon, died yesterday morning. He was a pioneer school teacher and a very influential citizen, as well as a successful farmer. Rev. Montgomery will preach his funeral at the M. E. Church at 2 o'clock today.
