Micheline Corbeil Turner, 63, of Coralville, IA passed away Saturday March 19, 2005 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics following a lengthy illness.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday March 24, 2005 at 11:00 am at Lensing Oakhill Funeral Home, 210 Holiday Rd, Coralville. Reverend Walter Helms will officiate. Private family burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Carlyle, IL. Friends and family can call on Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Micheline’s name to the Friends of the Coralville Public Library.

Micheline was born on September 26, 1941 in Quebec, Canada to Jean and Rollande (Leclerc) Corbeil. She taught high school French for several years. Micheline was a board member of The Friends of the Coralville Library and set up the book sale events for the library. She worked and volunteered at the Coralville Historical Society.

Micheline is survived by her three children; Ginette M. Aley of Des Moines, IA, Joanne T. Stevenson (John) of Breese, IL and Robert J. Turner of Strongsville, OH. Five grandchildren; Amanda and Jonathan Aley, Daniel Turner, David and Andrew Stevenson. Seven siblings; Real, Jaques, Daniel, Gaetan, Michel, Hugette and Lucie.

Micheline was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
