Mrs. Jennie Robotham of Iowa City died at her home on Sunday, Jan. 7th from illness due to old age as she was about 80 years old.

She was born in England and was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Hobbs. They came to this country many years ago and for about 59 years she was a resident of Johnson county, living near Oasis for many years.

She leaves to mourn--one brother, Stephen Hobbs of West Branch, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Peel of Iowa City and Mrs. Tabitha Wilson of Easton Maryland.

The funeral was held on Tuesday at Iowa City, conducted by Rev. I. A. Bartholomew of the West Branch M.E. church, and the body was laid beside her husband in the Oasis cemetery.
