SHARON WOMAN DIES IN CITY
Mrs. Ruth Miller Dies in Local Hospital Wednesday
Mrs. Ruth E. Miller, who resides a mile east of Sharon, died at a local hospital at 1:35 o'clock Wednesday afternoon after a short illness.
The daughter of Capt. G. R. and Emilie Hall, she was born on June 5, 1881, in Johnson county and passed her entire life on the same farm.
She was married to Earl Miller in 1905.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the Evangelical church at Sharon, the missionary society, was active in church and Sunday school work, was president of the southwest district of the State Sunday school association, was a member of the W. C. T. U., the Johnson county farm bureau chorus and the Sharon Women's club.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Delbert of Riverside and Glenn at home; one sister, Miss Modena J. Hall of Sharon; two brothers, Clarence W. Hall of Roseville, Calif., and Ernest H. Hall of Aitken, Minn., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Sharon Evangelical church with burial in the church cemetery. The remains will be at the Oathout funeral chapel in Iowa City until tomorrow at 5, when they will be taken to the family home.
