D.F. GINGERICH DIES SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 17

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, November 21, 1962 for David F. Gingerich, 84, who died in West Branch on November 17. Burial was made in the Sharon Evangelical United Brethren cemetery. The Rev. Ezra Shenk officiated.
Mr. Gingerich was born December 30, 1878 in Kalona. He married Nettie Zager and the couple farmed near Sharon Center until retiring.
His wife preceded him in death in 1958. Survivors include three sons, Olin and Lester, Iowa City and Delbert, Coralville. Two daughters, Mrs. Allen Zook, Denver, Colo., Mrs. Melvin Duwa, Lost Nation; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
