KALONA

Emma A. Hartzler, 84, died Friday at Pleasantview Home following a lengthy illness.
She is survived by six sons, Ronald, Vernon and Eugene all of Kalona, Herbert J. of Iowa City, Lawrence of Fairfax, Va., and Robert of Eagle River, Alaska; four daughters, Betz Yoder of Iowa City, Judith Weise of Colorado Springs, Colo., Ruth Southwick of Aurora, Ill., and Wilma Hawkins of Torrence, Calif.; four sisters, Nittie Christner, Blanche Marner, Agnes Swindell and Maude Gingerich, all of Kalona; 31 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Sharon Center United Methodist Church, with burial in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call any time at Peterseim's. Memorials may be made to the Church.
