Dale Roberts, 64

Dale F. Roberts, 64, of Marengo died Thursday at University of Iowa Hospitals after a short illness.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Sharon Center United Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The Revs. Julie Paulson and Yon Schoenmaker will officiate.
Visitation will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday in Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A memorial fund has been established.
Mr. Roberts was born July 1, 1926, in Parnell, son of Oliver and Sadie Wade Roberts. He married Leah Yoder Oct. 14, 1947, in Iowa City. He worked for Amana Society Farms for the past 17 years.
He is survived by a son, Jimmy D. of Kalona; two daughters, Susan Naggetz of Marengo and Lori Wagner of Citrus Heights, Calif.; two sisters, Ann Garringer and Charlotte Hoover, both of Anamosa; a brother, Carroll of Anamosa; his mother, Sadie of Anamosa; two grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
