Irma Hall, 91, of Iowa City, died Friday, February 4, 2005 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City after a brief illness.

Private family graveside services were held at Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City.

Irma was born August 22, 1913 in Morse, Iowa, the daughter of John & Blanche (Walters) Eggenburg. She married James Hall on December 22, 1935. The couple enjoyed 69 years of marriage.

Irma worked in housekeeping for the University of Iowa and had been a resident of Iowa City for 60 years.

Survivors include her children, Joan Hall of Des Moines and James Hall & his fiancé Diana Wolski of New Lenox, Illinois; sister, Eudenia & her husband Edward Gruwell of Iowa City; sister in law, Nora Eggenburg of Iowa City; her grandchildren, Brian Hall of Dallas, Texas and Christopher Hall & his wife Tomi of Aurora, Illinois; great-grandchildren, Tori Hall & Collin Hall of Aurora, Illinois; several nieces and nephews, including Mr. & Mrs. William Wilson of Iowa City, Mr. & Mrs. Harold Eggenburg Jr. of Iowa City and Katherine Shepard of Denver, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
