PASSES AWAY

Mother of Mrs. M. C. Struble
Dies at Daughter's Home
Aged 81 Years

Mrs. Minnie Shaffer, an estimable octegenarian, passed away at 10 o'clock, this morning, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. C. Struble, 617 College Hill, Iowa City. She was aged 81 years, 11 months, and 15 days.
Funeral services will be held at Wellman, Wednesday afternoon, at 2:30 o'clock.
Neighbors and other friends may view the remains from 1 o'clock to 9 P. M., Tuesday, at the home of Mrs. Struble.
Surviing [sic] are her daughter and two sons, Mrs. M. C. Struble, Iowa City; Charles F. Shaffer, Wellman; and J. B. Shaffer, Des Moines.
Mrs. Shaffer was a loving mother and a devoted friend and she will be missed and mourned by a large circle of loving Iowans, in Johnson and Washington counties.
